The chapter president is responsible for leading his brothers and managing the operations of the chapter. Sebastien, known to his brothers as Seb, is taking the reigns for Fall Quarter after our previous president elected to take over recruitment duties. With an intimidatingly high GPA in the challenging pre-medical track at UCLA, we are confident in Seb's ability to lead our chapter by example this upcoming quarter.
The vice president of recruitment drives the quantity and quality of a chapter’s membership. By successfully recruiting the best men on campus, he ensures a great fraternity experience for his brothers and the long-term success of his chapter. Tomi served as President for the first half of 2019 before choosing to use his skills to help us recruit our best class of Sigmas yet.
The vice president of member development oversees the development experience of each brother providing support and structure during a crucial part of their lives. Jacob has shown extreme diligence and commitment to the continued growth of our chapter through recruitment, scheduling copious amounts of brotherhood events, and serving as an outlet and advisor for individual brothers.
The vice president of programming is responsible for the planning and execution of the chapter’s events and functions. Miller is our beloved VP of programming who has helped us seamlessly transition to substance-free events while still maintaining the safe, fun environments our events are known for.
Jack is the first holder of the newly formed role responsible for philanthropy and on-campus involvement. One of three pre-medical students on the executive board, Jack has an unrivaled love of volunteer work that perfectly matches the role. He is solely the success we had with our main philanthropy event, SigEp Sweethearts, and reminds our brothers of the importance of being involved in purpose-driven work.
Sam is the first holder of the newly formed role responsible for the maintenance of the chapter's image and presence online, on campus, and in the greater community. As Greek Life continues to change in unexpected ways, Sam ensures that our chapter is at the forefront of positive change in the community.
The vice president of finance is the chapter’s chief financial officer. Ben, an economics major, found his perfect role to help our chapter as VP of finance. His attention to detail and careful decision making has helped our chapter to stay financially stable through proper budgeting and resource allocation.
The chaplain is bestowed with the care and guard of the Fraternity’s Ritual. He also leads the judicial branch of the chapter. In doing so, he is responsible for holding all members accountable to the principles of Virtue, Diligence and Brotherly Love, as well as the other standards of membership. Jack has breathed new life into the role of Chaplain through his active participation in all chapter activities and through leading by example.
